This Safety & Loss award is given to a Canadian equipment dealer who has made an investment in people, safety and training. They must demonstrate a commitment to Risk Management and Loss Prevention plans, processes, and procedures while also participating in and supporting their community.

Connect Equipment's year-over-year low loss ratio, commitment to investing in their facilities, and making them a safe place to work for their employees were the deciding factors in the award. Connect Equipment was nominated by Federated Canada's team of marketing representatives and risk services specialists.

"We are grateful to have been recognized with such a prestigious award," said Mary-Lynne Benninger. "It is an honour to receive this acknowledgement from NAEDA and Federated Insurance."

"We appreciate the opportunity to work with both organizations, and their support has been instrumental in enabling us to implement effective safety measures that minimize the risks and improve the health and safety of our employees and customers," added Benninger.

Named the Bill Armstrong Safety & Loss Control Award, it was created by the former Canada West Equipment Dealers Association to honour Bill Armstrong, who was the manager for the Alberta/British Columbia Farm Equipment Association from 1970-1984. It was presented to Connect Equipment by Chris Leahey, Federated Insurance Company of Canada's Regional Manager.

The NAEDA Board of Directors would also like to extend their congratulations to Connect Equipment on this impressive achievement.
